My First PodiuM

well..... i wanted to write this blog yesterday but could not do it as i was busy with some work up my sleeve.

The day started with a bright Sunday morning 08-05-05( 2 much melodrama cool it people just to spice things up;) ) .There were all these Cars and bikes lined up for this Mega event ( This one is, for this small city where i reside) . Must be wondering wat this Mega evenT ( in " " ) must be ..... it was a TSD rally organized by my college where i did my engineering as part of their cultural extravaganza .This was the second time i was taking part in it(5th last time). Never took part in it when i was in college though, may be I could have impressed the so called babes of my college. There were around 14-15 cars and say about 25-30 bikes takin part. We were the 11 car to be flagged off , with the 29 number flashing on the car we sped off with the tulip (it gives the directions and in what speed u have to travel - brainy people may ignore this bracket ) to finish our race. There were four of us in the car - the car owner, his younger bro , a friend of ours and myself at the driver's seat. My navi was this friend who had just recovered from a fatal accident in manglore ,even with a broken neck he was at his best and the calculations were done my the car owner and his bro without which we just could not go any further.

Let me tell something about this CAR . This was a famous one during my tenure in college . ( CAR is always highlighted in blue !!! y ? ).

Ok ppl , I get it.... Guess I must be really boring u guys to death like these Hindi movies .Fine shall end it soon.......

The race started with some hiccups in the beginning but by the end of the day when we finished the race we were really satisfied with what we had done. We finished really well . Then comes the big call I get the same night that we may win atleast one place, this means the Podium is ours. I think , I was the happiest person when I heard that , may be more than Kimi Raikkonen coz he got his first podium finish with a first place this season (Spanish grand pri 2005).
but....

the next day when the results were out I was on cloud no 9 , we had secured the FIRST PLACE.

What an exciting week end to finish with and what a way to start the next week ... just hoping the week continues the same way.
